Multitasking
Atola Insight Forensic supports multitasking, which gives you a great productivity boost.
The tool supports up to 15 concurrent tasks, and tasks can be assigned to different ports or image files:
- 1 source port device: SATA 3.0, USB 3.0, IDE
- 6 target port devices:
- 3 SATA
- 3 USB 3.0 (SuperSpeed)
- 4 Image Files
Multiple drives are being processed simultaneously
Use cases
Example 1. Once an imaging session is complete and a file recovery operation is in progress, you could start imaging another media onto new targets while continuing recovering files. This can be especially handy when imaging a set of bad or large (3-6 TB) drives.
Example 2. Wipe multiple hard drives at once. And, hash one or multiple drives while the other ones are being wiped, without interruption.
